Why Locals Love Warrandyte Bridge Cafe

Nestled along the picturesque Yarra River, the Warrandyte Bridge Cafe offers a delightful retreat for locals and visitors alike. With its welcoming atmosphere and emphasis on fresh, quality ingredients, it’s a haven for food enthusiasts and a fantastic spot to enjoy a moment of tranquility.

The cafe’s charm is evident the moment you step inside, where the inviting decor and amiable staff make every guest feel like family. Specializing in Persian and contemporary Australian cuisine, there’s something on the menu to satisfy every palate. A standout is the Persian Deluxe Breakfast, featuring perfectly fried eggs, buttery avocado, and an intriguing twist with sweet, peanut butter-stuffed dates, all beautifully complemented by aromatic Persian tea. It’s a plate that transports your taste buds straight to the heart of Persia.

For those who prefer a unique take on breakfast, don’t miss the Zucchini & Corn Fritters, which marry the earthiness of fresh vegetables with the creamy richness of feta and the zesty kick of house made beetroot relish. And for the classic breakfast lovers, the Eggs Benedict with Ham offers a delightful combination of silky hollandaise, poached eggs, and a healthy scoop of smashed avocado atop crisp toast.

Guests rave about the cafe’s welcoming warmth and friendly staff; as SheEarth Crystals puts it, it’s a “wonderful little Cafe with a great selection of food,” and praises the staff as “warm and friendly.” This sentiment is echoed by Cathy, who describes her first visit as filled with “delicious” discoveries and a welcoming ambiance created by the dedicated owner and her daughter.

Another highlight of the cafe is their distinctive range of drinks, including the much-loved Persian spiced tea, enjoyed by many guests alongside homemade sweets. J K shares a memorable first experience where the combination of the tea and delightful willow candy left a lasting impression: “It was my first time having willow candy, and I absolutely loved it.” Imagine sipping this fragrant brew while engaging in warm conversation, encapsulating the essence of community.

Families will also feel right at home here, as William Donnelly (Will) attests to enjoying breakfast here regularly with his family, appreciating the strong, smooth coffee and inviting atmosphere that makes each visit special. He fondly remembers the Friday dinner events featuring tender and flavorful dishes that elevate this cafe beyond a mere breakfast spot.

Such a wonderful little Cafe with a great selection of food, I particularly love the avocado chicken wrap. Everything is fantastic though, my kids ask me for a junior burger every time we drive past . Staff are so warm and friendly too.

First time here. Very delicious food and filling too, the Persian havish and marinated mushrooms are fantastic. Lovely welcoming owner, mother and daughter team. The Persian spiced tea great with the willow sweets, similar to Masala chai but not sweet at all. Heartily recommend!

A wonderful little café with a charming atmosphere. We tried the Persian tea, which came with delightful willow candy — it was my first time having it, and I absolutely loved it. I was also impressed by their range of vegan options, including vegan cheese. A lovely spot worth visiting!

Such a warm and welcoming environment with delicious food, strong and smooth coffee, my family and I have really enjoyed our visits to this gem. We really loved the dinner event on Friday, really tender and flavourful chicken. I always come past to grab a coffee and a breakfast roll as well, highly recommended.

We had the most beautiful evening at the Warrandyte Bridge Café for their Persian feast. The space felt so cosy and homely — like being welcomed into a warm embrace. Every dish was rich with flavour and story. The little entertainment was so lovely, and I even got to share my candle-making story with everyone, which made the night feel even more special for me. The warmth and kindness of the people there truly made it an unforgettable experience. Thank you for such a heartwarming night — we’ll definitely be back!

My family and I visited the Warrandyte Bridge Cafe where we were greeted most pleasantly by Aida and the rest of the staff. They were very accomodating and helpful! The food came out quickly and it was simply delicious. We tried the Philly Cheesesteak, the Avo wrap, and the Persian stew - and my family and I loved our choices. We will certainly be visiting again. I highly recommend the Warrandyte Bridge cafe if you’re looking for a cozy, delicious experience!

We came here for brunch and was blown away by the amazing customer service and the excellent food. The staff greeted us warmly and gave us an amazing experience. We ordered the eggs benedict with smoked salmon, havish persian dish and persian tea with persian noghl which is sweet candy. This is perfect for anyone who likes creative modernised persian food and wants to try new things.
